Very few child car seats have cup holders. This is especially true for infant carriers. That does make sense because infants do not drink out of cup. However, it wouldn’t be such a bad idea because some still drink out of bottles. A bottle holder is not such a bad idea. Britax is now offering cup holders as add-ons to convertible car seats like the Britax Boulevard 70 CS. Toddlers can definitely drink out of a cup. However, they might still be in a rear-facing position or are strapped in too tightly to reach a car cup holder. My daughter loves her cup holder on her high-chair tray. Every time she takes a sip she puts the cup right back into the slot. I feel she would definitely make use of it if we had one in the car. If you buy a car seat from now on, check for cup holders. Your child will appreciate it.
